Steven Andrew Oleksy is a retired American professional ice hockey defenseman, and former member of the National Hockey League. Born 1986, in Chesterfield Township, Michigan, Steve grew up playing hockey and eventually earned a scholarship at Lake Superior State University. In 2013, Oleksy joined the NHL and was a key defenseman for several major teams, including Team USA during the IIHF Men’s Hockey World Championships. Eventually, Oleksy joined the Pittsburg Penguins, and in 2016, helped his team win the Stanley Cup.
